Yup.... We all KNEW my sister Gabs would pull SOMETHING at the last moment to try and get out of going to Alaska...but, even I am shocked at the lengths she has gone to. Late last night she evidently bribed a snake into biting her on the face. She had her Spokesperson worried sick...staying up all through the night to make sure she was still breathing. Gabs, of course, milked it for all it was worth. She made hideous gurgling sounds as she swallowed, refused to drink any water, feigned confusion, and was uncharacteristically lethargic. She had her Spokeswoman near hysteria. Gab's eye nearly swelled shut and her entire face swelled up like a furry watermelon. She was a HIDEOUS sight.
However, she is back on the mend this morning. The swelling has gone down significantly and she is back to being her old neurotically hyperactive tail-chasing self.
Personally, I think she BRIBED that snake to bite her. That girl will do anything to try and get Vader or I to let her stay with us, instead of boarding that plane for Alaska. Vader TRIED a second time to let her stay with him, but she just wears him out. She blab blab blabs all day and all night. And she is constantly wanting to rough-house. I mean, rough-housing is great fun, but EVENTUALLY you have to stop and take a nap or something! Not Gabs...she never knows when to stop. I think she lacks the maturity gene.
Poor girl...I do feel sorry for her getting booted off to Alaska like that...but she brought it on herself. Her brother really DID consider REPEATEDLY letting her bunk up with him for the next two years, but she just couldn't behave herself. She is CONSTANTLY stirring up trouble. When she's around, she gets everyone else into all sorts of trouble. Worse, she has the habit of causing the trouble and then stepping back and letting her HOST or HOSTESS get stuck with all the blame! She is a master at leaving someone else holding the bag. She is GOOD...I'm tellin' ya! So, just let her disappear in Alaska where there isn't anyone around but HER to take the blame for the trouble she stirs up...that's what I say!
I really hope that poor snake is okay. I shudder to think what lengths Gabby might have gone to in order to purposely provoke him to bite her. Poor snake!
Since I don't have a picture of either the snake or Gabby's presently mis-shapen face, I had to do the best I could... from what I've heard, this picture is pretty close to what Gabby looks like about now:
