Rainy Days and Mondays

It is a rainy, rainy day today...but the greens are so beautiful and the mud is delightfully squishy! Strange...the half-crazed Border Collie and the delusional Newfie keep muttering that they had more grass back here before I joined them. I think they are just jealous that I am such a diligent sentry...always racing back and forth from one corner of the yard to another making sure there isn't anything dangerous about to crawl under our fence or fly over it!

The Littlest Ninja had everyone chuckling the other day...there was Celtic program on the radio. After about the third fiddle tune in a row, the Littlest Ninja looked up and asked, "And...WHY are we listening...to LEPRECHAUN SONGS?"

Oh...and my sister, Gabs, made it safely to Nome. Yesterday she called to let me know she was having a blast jumping through snow-drifts that are deeper than her Spokeswoman is tall...all in her own yard! She promises to post photos on her blog as soon as her Spokespeople get their internet access hooked up!

Gabs must be able to jump really high. Or her human is really vertically challenged.

Princess Eva, Gab's Spokesperson is taller than mine is...all I know is Gab's Spokeswoman said there were drifts in their yard deeper than she is tall and that Gabs was having a blast jumping in them...maybe she jumps in over her head and back out again?...not sure....guess we will have to wait until she starts blogging again to get the full details!

Ransom, if your spokeswoman won't mix you up a batch of my frosting for your food bowl, let me know and I'll do it for you. I know the way to a GSD's heart, kiddo. I've loved them and had one in my life for many dog years!
