You're ON my HOT TAIL!

Well, the Littlest Ninja continues with her life-long talent for creative use of the English language! A few days ago I overheard her as she was playing a game of trouble with her Grandmother, exclaim, "You're on my hot tail!" (I think she was meaning her grandmother was hot on her trail!...though maybe she meant just what she said...I've certainly experienced a pesky flea or two on my hot tail many a summer day!)

Then, tonight, she informed the Spokesguy that she was watching BOTH her sister's soccer game and the game in the adjacent field. The Spokesguy asked her skeptically, "How can you watch BOTH of them at the same time?" She answered (as though it was QUITE obvious), "Well, I have TWO eye-balls!" ......duh!

Earlier in the evening, the Littlest Ninja had approached the Spokesguy with a solemn face and gravely asked him, "Do caterpillars have BONES?"

A few days ago, the Middle Ninja was persistently reminding the lazy Spokeswoman for the forty billioneth time of his DESPERATE need for a haircut. Ever helpful, the Spokesguy jumped in and suggested to the Spokeswoman, "Why don't YOU just cut it rather than taking him in to have it cut." The Spokeswoman has been cutting the Spokesguy's hair for over 18 years because he refuses to go the barbershop, so, it probably was a reasonable suggestion. The Middle Ninja, though EAGER to get his hair cut was utterly appalled at the Spokesguy's suggestion and instantly protested loudly, "No!" Perplexed, the Middle Ninja's grandmother jumped into the conversation and asked, "Wouldn't you like your MOMMY to cut your hair?" The Middle Ninja glanced towards the Spokeswoman and then, looking solemnly at the Spokesguy replied in horror, "No. I be bald!" Guess he has it figured out...the Spokesguy's hair wouldn't be thinning if that Spokeswoman wasn't the one cutting it every month!

You are TOTALLY right, Clive! I mean what is ANY post WITHOUT A PICTURE OF ME!!!! So, I have dutifully gone back in an added a picture of myself from yesterday to go with yesterday's post! It is perfectly understandable that my friends and family can't get enough of gazing upon my mesmerizing beauty! The Ninjas are cute enough, but they do pale next to me!!!
