Me with the Staff...

Yup...it is a truly sorry crew, but you got to work with what you have on hand! I am responsible for keeping the Psychotic Border Collie (Rivendell) from going KUJO...and I am responsible for keeping the Goofie Newfie (Delusional Gloria) from climbing up into laps and crushing unsuspecting people. I thought I would get a picture of me with my crew for my blog, but the Overgrown Oaf of a Newfie made it almost an impossible task. Besides being utterly delusional, she is also TERRIFIED of everything in the world...including sitting still two seconds to have her picture taken! Finally, the Spokeswoman gave up and called out the Oldest Ninja to help. By the time we FINALLY got this picture (with the Oldest Ninja HOLDING the delusional scaredy-cat in place), the Half-Crazed Border Collie was thinking SHE might be in trouble, so her ears were plastered tightly against her head. I, no surprise, was the only dog looking regal, alert, and happy. Like I said, the other two just don't give me much to work with here!!!

Momma thinks that it's hard enough to get two to cooperate in a photo. She can't imagine getting 3 to cooperate.

Poor Ransom, I know how you feel... sigh...I am just minus the delusional Newfie. But my BC makes up for both of them, delusional, psychotic, neurotic and fearful!

Still a pretty decent shot - we never let Mom get a good pic of three at one time.

Why don't you take them for a long, long walk and lose them in the woods?

Just a thought.

What a terrific idea, Stella!!!

And, Kira, you have had my complete sympathy since the first time I saw that little psychotic Border Collie at your side!!! Believe me, I feel you pain!!!

Ransom said:I must admit, though, you look an awfully LOT like the half-crazed Border Collie I live with...you wouldn't be her long lost sister or anything, would you? (She was found as a pup by the side of a gravel road way out in the country...about an hour from Kansas City, Missouri about three years ago.)
Yes, yes, I am Rivendell's sister, however I pulled myself up by my bootstraps, worked my way through two prominent Dog Universities achieving highest honors at both, and was on my way to the Science Dept of a major University to work, when I was picked up by a clodbuster police person who put me in the slammer in Minnesota. I was adopted by a dear old woman and am happy here, most of the time, and I want nothing to do with my deadbeat family, mostly Rivendell.
Understand, Ransom? Good! My suggestion still goes.

Rans....YOU KNOW GLORIA HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY FAVORITE IN YOUR PATHETIC PACK...Gloria is by far the best out of all of you. By the way...it is almost MY birthday---I hope you remember to wish ME a Happy Birthday in a couple weeks...it is the big ONE you know.
I miss you and so miss playing together....I have no one here in lonelyville.

Poor, poor Suzuki...I feel sorry for you! (And I heard how Scooby has been going all KUJO in your household...sounds just like a phase the Psychotic Border Collie went through not quite a year ago.)

Stella, I am SO SORRY you are related to Rivendell. You are the first relative we have ever known about (other than the brother she was found with--who, by all accounts, grew into a respectable cattle-herding, hard-working, farm dog). I am so glad that streak of psychosis which taints Rivie did not affect you. I am sorry though, that you bear the stigma of being related to a dog like Rivie!

As to YOU, dear sister Gabby...how on earth could I forget YOUR birthday when it is the same day as MY BIRTHDAY?!!! Of course I haven't forgotten. But, I am trying not to THINK about it because my heartless Spokeswoman isn't even going to be HOME on my birthday...she's going to be in COLORADO with all the rest of the family...they are leaving me with a DOG SITTER. Can you believe it? On the day I officially turn ONE YEAR OLD, I will be all alone...with the psychotic Border Collie and the goofie Newfie and a dog sitter. It is breaking my heart to even think about it.
