The Problem with TAN Legs...

First things first!...if you haven't yet voted for me, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE pop over to Suzuki's blog and in the upper right side, vote for me, RANSOM! Today is the final day for voting...we are DOWN TO THE WIRE!!!

Yesterday I discovered I was at a natural disadvantage here in the backyard with my lovely, contrasting German Shepherd coloring. But, let me start at the beginning...

Thursday was gorgeous...Spring in all its glory. Then the newscasters predicted a HUGE snow storm for the weekend. Well, as it turned out, we just got RAIN...lots of it. Which made the flowerbed nice and squishy. There aren't any flowers in it...the other dogs took care of that long before I ever came along. So, there it was...wonderful, glorious patch of black mud begging to be dug in. It was just a tiny little hole...not even quite big enough for me to lay in...but the Spokeswoman was not pleased. I tried incriminating the other two mugs who hang out back here with me, but she wasn't buying it. Finally, it dawned on me why my well reasoned defense was falling on deaf ears. You see, I have nice tan legs, but they all have black legs. Of course black mud does not show up on black legs! Black mud, however, IS very apparent on lovely tan legs. THAT was my downfall!

Things are looking much better today, though. Being of the self-cleaning working dog German Shepherd variety, I look as spiffy this morning as though I just waltzed out of a bubble bath. (I don't SMELL like I just waltzed out of a bubble bath--thank goodness!--but, I do LOOK amazingly clean...with absolutely NO assistance from my Spokesperson, thank you very much!) Things are also looking much better today because the rain has paused and because I got PIZZA for breakfast! Not just any pizza, but a huge slice of Godfather's MEATLOVER'S Pizza!!! All three of us got a slice for breakfast this morning. My Spokesperson is lame on most counts, but I will give her credit here--she does have good taste in the left-overs she regularly doles out to us! She still doesn't COOK for me (like Suzuki's Mom), but, at least she does give me Pizza and ICE CREAM!!!

Hah! Rivie THOUGHT I was being affectionate, but, actually, she had a bit of pepperoni grease dripping off her chin! I LOVE Meat-Lover's PIZZA!!!

When our Momma thinks we look dirty, she looks at this picture from years ago of my sisters Tasha and Tia and realizes that we're not that bad.

Ammy, I certainly DO NOT love that psychotic little Border Collie! She's alright to hang out in the backyard with, but I have to have my boundaries! My job is keeping this place secure and keeping the psychotic Border Collie and the delusional Newfie out of trouble...so, I can't go getting MUSHY over either of them...it just wouldn't be PROFESSIONAL.

She had PIZZA GREASE on her chin...that's all there was to it! I can't stand that mean little varmit except when she's good and greasy!

Hello Ransom,
I seed your message on my singles page over at Scooby's. Rivendell sounded like a promising date and she is very beautiful. But you has made her sound a bit scary and psycho in some of your posts here and I is not sure I is ready for that in a lady. BOL!

Nice to meet you and the ninja's and your other furry siblings too!
