We had exciting weather today! Water was coming down in sheets and then, suddenly straight line winds came in and drove the sheets of water horizontal! Trees and branches came down all over the place. In fifteen minutes flat the water rose to a depth of five and a half inches deep across both of our patios. My food pan floated away and the water level rose above my old water pan! As soon as the ferocity of the torrential downpour eased just a bit, I was out inspecting the damage with a borrowed camera! Our next door neighbor's tool shed really took a beating and wound up upended against the back of their fence.

Good to here that you are okay but you must find your food dish. Otherwise your mom may not know where to put your dinner.

Woo! we are glad you are ok! And humans say they won't live in Florida because of the hurricanes, I keep seeing worse storms elsewhere... Sorry about your food dish, did you get it back????

What a mess!! Glad yer all ok, storms can be scary sometimes, but Darla is not afraid of them, she wants to eat the thunder!

So glad you are OK. Our Midwest is not a fun place to be this time of the year. We have friends whose parents live in southwest MO and had a lot of damage. We got lucky in the KC area and only got rain. Stay safe.
