Stolen

Well, there won't be any more photos for a long, long time. The Spokeswoman's camera was stolen today. The Spokesguy took it to the University where he teaches and someone stole it right out of his office. He should have let me ACCOMPANY him! I would have kept whoever's sticky fingers stole it from getting anywhere near it!

The sad part is that in the camera bag were NINE SD cards (18 gigs) of family photos that had not yet been burned to CDs or DVDs. Pretty much an entire year of family photos lost...the Ninjas' birthday parties, the oldest Ninja's track meets and soccer games, vacation photos, all the photos of the Spokeswoman and her friends and her mother and aunt at a recent weekend conference, and almost all the photos of me from the day I was born last June through yesterday, and just the every day goofy photos that get taken and mean so much.

Oh NO!!!!!

We know that you would have been able to protect the camera. Next time, insist on going with for protection.

Oh no, thats terrible Ransom! Your spokesman should take you into his office and let you sniff out the thief. I know you could do it.
Big licks to you

Oh Ransom, that's horrible! Just awful! There are some really rude people in this world. We have two cameras - they're both cheap, but all the pictures on my blog have been taken with one or the other. If you email us your address, we'll send you one - I'm sure you'll eventually want to get a better one, but at least you'll have a camera and we'll have Ransom pictures.

Your pal,
Joey

Joey, your sweet offer made my Spokeswoman tear up. She said your kindness and generosity took the sting out of the violation she has been feeling since discovering someone in the Christian university of our small (safe-feeling) town would steal from us.
