My Photo Shoot
(May There NEVER Be Another One!)

Well, I WOULD HAVE posted YESTERDAY, but I was just too EXHAUSTED after my Spokeswoman got through with me. I swear, I am about ready to make a flying leap for her throat and grab that new camera of hers and swim it straight out to the middle of the lake and happily watch it SINK!!!

Yesterday, the Spokeswoman is all nicey nice...."Come with me to the park, Ransom! We can take a few photos! It will be fun!!!" Few? HAH! What she really meant, was come be my captive model for the next HOUR while I bore you to death snapping photos of you.

Did we go for one single, solitary WALK? No--unless you count moving from one scenic spot to the next (I don't!)! Did I get to RUN? No. Swim? No. Sample a nice, fat, sassy goose? Definitely, NO. This has to be the most boring trip to the park in HISTORY!!!

But, the Spokeswoman was clueless. "Smile!" she called brightly, oblivious to my agony. Then she went on and on and on and on about all the amazing features of her camera. Yuck! (Here are a handful of the photos she took...untouched up, just the raw unedited images. She did compress the files so I could get them to load onto Blogger, but she didn't do any editing with the computer at all. Believe me, I know. That is all she talked about, "Look! Ransom!!! I don't even have to use the computer now to get cool effects! I can do it all right when I am shooting!" Yeah, yeah, yeah. It takes so little to please her.

Woooo! Well you are beaWootiful, that is one of the things we have to put up with because of our beauty. You can give them only so much posing, then it is time to look away, squint, close your eyes, until they give up, that way you can go chase them birdies. I still think those swans would be yummy.

It may have been boring for you, but YOWZERS, those are some great shots, Ransom! Honest, you're soooo gorgeous!
Hey, some of those gooses look like the ones I met. Did they ask about me? Did you ask them if they know me? I wonder if they're the same ones!

Scratch your mom behind the ears - she did a great job.

But what are those lumpy things behind you? Not the geese & swans, the other things.

Wow Ranson! You are in trouble now! She will take more great pictures of you all the time! So sorry you didn't get any tasty morsels.....there sure seemed to be a lot to choose from! And it looks like you really had to hold yourself back! But, all of your picture are really great!

Thank you everyone! And those bumpy things behind me are a bit of mystery...near as I can figure the trees in that area of the park are some exotic tree that grows root stump suckers all around it out of the ground. They are very strange!
